As a Development Scientist you will support the development of new product formulations, providing support to both automated and offline analytical equipment. The role is a full time, permanent position with a flexible 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday. Additionally, you may support further automated platforms and health care product development evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate routine workflows by organising, scheduling and planning requests from multiple client facilities, ensuring smooth progression through automated platforms.
- Operate and support automation by reviewing Designs of Experiments, running automated workflows, supporting formulation platforms and ensuring all equipment is pre calibrated.
- Manage laboratory logistics by overseeing COSHH, safety, sample integrity and timelines, escalating issues promptly and documenting any non conformances.
- Execute and report testing by running routine automated requests, performing statistical reporting and conducting in line/off line quality assessments across haircare, fibre and sub fibre measurements using a range of analytical techniques.
- Maintain documentation and communication by preparing and updating SOPs, reports and protocols, ensuring all records meet quality standards, and keeping clear communication with key client contacts.
