Seed Talks is a fast‑growing talks and events platform curating live experiences across the UK, Ireland, USA and more. Our events bring together leading thinkers in psychology, neuroscience, wellness, psychedelics, feminism, and more. Since launching in late 2021, we’ve expanded to over 50 monthly events and sold more than 135,000 tickets in 2025. Our offerings include talks, workshops, online courses, and small‑scale conferences, with future growth focused on digital education, community membership, and international reach.
This is a hands‑on senior marketing role for someone who wants real ownership. You will sit between the heads of the company and the marketing team, participate in senior decision‑making, and manage the nuts and bolts of Seed Talks’ marketing. You’ll steer paid media, email, social, and creative while working closely with our Head of Growth on strategy and feeding data back to inform programming decisions. You’ll be trusted to make independent calls and to know when to raise issues.
Responsibilities:
- Line‑manage members of the marketing team
- Own and optimise paid social: budgets, creative testing, and scaling campaigns
- Track performance across all channels
- Run A/B tests to make informed decisions
- Manage and grow our email marketing
- Create content and improve our strategy on organic social channels
- Manage brainstorms and support creative initiatives
- Identify new growth opportunities
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in a marketing role with direct responsibility for paid digital marketing
- Organised and can follow through on independent projects
- Management experience, working as a senior person in a team and making decisions
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, results‑based start‑up environment
- Confident with data analysis and numbers
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or equivalent
- Experience on platforms including Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, etc.
- PR experience or working with external partners
- Familiarity with events, culture or education brands
- A genuine interest in psychology, science, culture, history and more!
