About Us
Seed Talks is a fast-growing talks and events platform curating live experiences across the UK and Ireland, featuring leading thinkers in psychology, neuroscience, wellness, psychedelics, feminism, and more. Since launching in late 2021, we have rapidly expanded to programming over 50 monthly events and sold 130,000+ tickets in 2025 alone. Our offerings now include talks, workshops, online courses, and small-scale conferences, with future growth focused on expanding our digital education, community membership, and international reach. We are a close-knit team of 13 (including part-timers), and we are excited to welcome someone with the commercial drive and relationship skills to unlock our next revenue stream.
The Role
This is a commercially focused, relationship-driven role. You will own brand partnerships and sponsorship revenue for Seed Talks, building a pipeline from scratch, closing deals, and managing ongoing sponsor relationships. You will report directly to the Head of Growth and work closely with our marketing and operations teams.
We have 130,000+ annual attendees, 250,000+ social followers, and millions of monthly impressions. What we don’t yet have is a dedicated person to unlock that value. We are a bootstrapped, profitable company that moves fast and invests only where there’s real ROI. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial enough to build this function from the ground up, creating the pitch materials, identifying the right brand partners, and closing meaningful deals that align with our audience and values.
If you are a natural relationship-builder with a commercial edge and a genuine passion for education, culture, and ideas, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Build and own our sponsorship revenue stream: develop and execute a partnerships strategy targeting brand deals worth £100k+ in year one and £150k+ in year two
- Identify and pitch prospective partners: proactively research brands aligned with our audience and lead outreach through to close
- Create and maintain our commercial collateral: build and iterate on our media kit, sponsorship packages, and audience insight materials
- Structure deals: design tiered partnership offerings (headline, category, community) with clear deliverables and pricing
- Manage existing partner relationships: be the day-to-day point of contact for sponsors, ensuring delivery against commitments and driving renewals
- Collaborate with marketing and events teams: ensure sponsor integrations are executed smoothly across events, email, and social
- Report on performance: track pipeline, revenue, and sponsor satisfaction — presenting results to the founder regularly
- Develop new partnership formats: explore and test new models such as co-producing workshop series or offering sponsored online courses
- Support publisher and institutional partnerships: be a key contact for commercially relevant relationships
You Might Be A Fit If You...
- Have 3+ years’ experience in brand partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development — ideally in events, media, publishing, or a values-led consumer brand
- Have a proven track record of closing deals and hitting revenue targets
- Are a confident, warm, and persuasive communicator
- Can build a polished pitch deck and media kit from scratch
- Understand what brands actually want from sponsorship and can translate Seed Talks’ audience into compelling commercial language
- Are entrepreneurial and you’re not looking for a fully built function to step into, you want to create one
- Are comfortable working in a fast-moving startup
- Have a genuine interest in our content areas: mental health, neurodiversity, psychology, wellness, education, feminism, and culture
- Bonus: existing relationships with relevant brand categories
Perks & Benefits
- Hybrid working, with semi-flexible hours and a focus on good work-life balance
- Free entry to all Seed Talks events
- High degree of agency. You’ll shape this function from day one
- Opportunity to grow with a high-growth, mission-led company
- Cycle to work scheme, basic health insurance
- Budget for courses, conferences, and self-development
- 9 day working fortnight for full time employees
