Our client is a stunning and welcoming nursery situated in East London, offering full-time and flexible childcare for children aged 6 months to 5 years. They aim to provide a safe, healthy, fun, stimulating, learning, and socially diverse environment and offer affordable, high-quality childcare for local families, including subsidised places for lower-income families. As a community nursery, it is run by parents for parents, and the Management Committee delegates the day-to-day running of the nursery to the Nursery Manager.
They are looking for a confident, passionate, and experienced Nursery Manager to lead their enthusiastic team at this Ofsted graded good nursery that is minutes away from the station.
The successful candidate will have a robust knowledge of EYFS, strong communication and organisation skills, and be highly motivated to lead and manage a team of staff.

Scope of this challenging role:
To ensure the day-to-day operation of the nursery is kept to a high standard. To ensure all legislation in relation to registration with regulatory bodies, special needs, child protection, and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to. To monitor and manage staff, continually improve practice, and support the nursery team.
Requested qualifications and experiences:
At least NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare, an equivalent or higher management qualification, and/or a further qualification in Childcare. Recent experience of management in an Early Years setting including staff management, budgets, regulatory compliance, and administration.
