About the Role

We are seeking a Group Administrator to join our team in Kentford, Newmarket. This is an office-based role that plays a vital part in supporting the smooth and effective delivery of support to all depots across SEED Environmental. You will be responsible for providing high quality administrative and customer service support to all SEED Environmental depots, managing business critical tasks and ensuring client and stakeholder needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Reporting to the Admin Manager/Executive Assistant, you'll work as part of a supportive team in our family-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update job management systems with accurate project information
  • Collate, check and process timesheets on relevant systems
  • Manage fleet administration including tax, insurance, fleet accounts and hire vehicles
  • Book overnight accommodation for site teams and management as required
  • Arrange travel bookings as needed
  • Order uniform, PPE, stationery and office supplies, raising purchase orders and following company processes
  • Reconcile company credit card expenditure monthly
  • Maintain and update company records in a timely manner
  • Monitor shared inboxes, respond to general queries and escalate matters when necessary
  • Manage inbound calls offering prompt and courteous support
  • Ensure all administrative tasks comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in an administrative or operational support role
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload under pressure

Desirable:

  • Experience within the construction or contracting industries

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £29,000 per annum and provide a comprehensive range of benefits including:

  • Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days, increasing with service up to 25 days (additional 3 days after 3 years, additional 2 days after 5 years) plus bank holidays
  • Working hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm with one half hour unpaid break
