About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Construction Labourer to join our CTSL team based in Preston, working on nationwide projects. You will work as part of a two‑person team alongside a Multi‑Skilled Builder, carrying out specialist remediation work on oil‑contaminated residential properties across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in environmental remediation whilst working in a varied and challenging environment. You’ll assist with both internal and external building works, undertaking site works, remediation, and reinstatement tasks under the direction of the Multi‑Skilled Builder, with training provided on the job and opportunities to expand your skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Multi‑Skilled Builder with all aspects of remediation work on oil‑contaminated residential properties including:
- Removing contaminated soils, brickwork, and internal floors
- Supporting underpinning and damp‑proof course installation
- Assisting with brickwork and blockwork tasks
- Supporting plastering and drainage works
- General labouring and construction tasks
