Salary: £13.72 per hour (£26,754) plus benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday), permanent

Responsibilities

  • Strive to produce high‑quality outputs and interactions for the people we support and each other
  • Maintain the Heather House and Fir Tree Lodge property and equipment to the highest standards
  • Perform maintenance repair services as required/scheduled, including general plumbing, carpentry, tiling, furniture, fixtures and fittings, windows, locks, gutters, fences, etc.
  • Maintain, repair and install the various general plumbing installations, including internal and external drains, sinks, taps, showers, toilets and other equipment
  • Collect required materials/tools from suppliers
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines when carrying out work
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with all departments/teams both internally and externally, updating on works completed, parts ordered, etc. to ensure works are carried out in an efficient and planned way
  • Undertake any other maintenance/handyperson tasks as required
