Join Our Team as a Senior Support Worker
Location: Aldershot, Hampshire
Salary: £13.53 per hour (£26,383.50 pro-rata) plus benefits.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.

Essential Criteria
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to the following areas of expertise:
- Mental Health
- Autism and Learning Disabilities
- Sight Loss
You will have a QCF in Health & Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living. Experience in a similar role.

- Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
- Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.

- Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.

Who you will be Supporting?
Aldershot Support Service is a supported living service for six adults with learning disabilities and a range of other needs, including sight loss, autism and epilepsy. We specialise in supporting and assisting people with sight loss to live independently in their own home. The people we support in Aldershot are an active group who spend a lot of time getting out and about and engaging with the local community. They love doing activities like art classes, cooking and playing music.

Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK.
