Role Description Join Our Team as a Senior Support Worker Location:Tadley, Hampshire Salary:£14.10 per hour (£27,495 pro-rata) plus benefits. Hours:37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis). Contract:Full-time, Permanent. Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential. Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas. Essential Criteria To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to the following areas of expertise: Autism and Learning Disabilities Sight Loss Complex Health Needs PEG Feeds Epilepsy Manual Handling/Hoisting/Personal Care Administering Medications You will have a QCF in Health & Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.Please note that holding a UK driving licence is essential to be considered for this role. Fir Tree Lodge is a 10-bed purpose-built residential home, for adults with complex care needs, learning disabilities and sight loss. With the support of our amazing team, who are positive, non-judgemental, and have a consistent approach, they deliver exceptional care! As we are growing, we are looking to strengthen our support worker family, to share in future successes and fulfil and empower lives. The people we support all need a helping hand with all aspects of daily living, from personal care and making sure nutritional needs are met. Being physically fit is key, as all of the people we support are wheelchair users and also use hoists to support mobility. The people we support are a very active and passionate group who spend a lot of time getting out and about and engaging within the local community, including going to the local pub for lunches out. Some of the activities they love include, music therapy, arts and crafts, swimming and spending time in the accessible garden.
