Join Our Team as a Learning Disabilities Co-Trainer - Expert with Lived Experience.
Location: Position available across all SeeAbility regions (Oxfordshire, Bristol, Devon, Hampshire, Surrey and Kent).
Salary: £13.20 per hour + Benefits.
Hours And Contract: Various- Part time, Bank.
Do You Have Learning Disability: We are looking for people who have learning disabilities and want to share their experience of living with learning disability while getting paid.
What you will do:
- Share your real life experience
- Help our colleagues across SeeAbility understand how to support people with learning disabilities better while delivering Oliver McGowan mandatory training.
- Talk about what help and what does not help.
- You will be working together with another trainer who will help and support you during training sessions.
What Skills You Will Need:
- Personal experience living with learning disability
- To be comfortable talking in groups and sharing your story
- To believe that everyone should be treated fairly and with respect
- A friendly and open approach
- To work well with others as part of a team
- Ability to travel as part of your role
- Ability to be part of a training session for 3 hours at a time

Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK having pioneered specialist support across multiple generations since 1799! We specialise in supporting people who have learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, who may also have sight loss.
