Position Details
- Location: Horley, Surrey
- Salary: £13.09 per hour (£10,210.20 per year prorated) plus benefits
- Hours: 15 guaranteed hours per week – stability you can count on
- Contract: Permanent
- Driving Licence: Manual full UK licence essential
- Visa Sponsorship: Unfortunately, this role is not eligible for sponsorship.

- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Experience in a care or support setting
- A full UK manual driving licence

Are you looking for a role where you can build a meaningful connection with someone and support them to live the life they choose?
We're looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Outreach Support Worker to support a friendly lady in Horley. You'll work alongside her to maintain her independence, stay connected to the people and places that matter most to her, and continue enjoying the things she loves.
This is a role where relationships matter. You'll get to know her as an individual, understand what's important to her, and provide both practical and emotional support to help her live a full and meaningful life.
A particularly important part of the role is supporting her to attend church every other Sunday, helping her remain connected to her faith and community.
Every day brings something different, but the impact you make will be clear. Through your support, encouragement and companionship, you'll help someone maintain their independence, confidence and wellbeing.
What you'll be supporting with
- Keeping her home clean, safe and tidy
- Shopping and running local errands
- Supporting with bills and general administration
- Accompanying her to medical appointments
- Supporting her to spend time with family and maintain important relationships
- Attending church with her every other Sunday
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence and involvement in the local community
About the hours
This role is for 15 hours per week and includes the following shifts:
- Monday – 9.00am to 1.00pm
- Tuesday – 10.00am to 12.00pm
- Wednesday – 9.00am to 1.00pm
- Friday – 9.00am to 1.00pm
- Every other Sunday – 10.00am to 12.00pm (church support)
