As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you’ll be more than just their support – you’ll be a key part of someone’s journey towards living their best life. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.

Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday’s, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.

Who you will be supporting?
I will soon be living in my own apartment in Redhill, supported by SeeAbility. You will be experienced of supporting a young lady like me with complex health needs, which include autism, learning disabilities and Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata. I will require assistance in all aspects of daily living including personal care; nutritional needs; communicating through Makaton and picture exchange communication systems; mobility and meeting my physical and emotional needs. Sometimes my behaviour can be challenging, so having a positive, non-judgemental attitude is important. You will need to be calm, patient, and resilient and have a consistent approach.
A valid full UK manual driving license is essential for this role.

We’re looking for individuals to join our colleague team who can stay calm under pressure, who are enthusiastic and take a proactive approach, and handle behaviours that others might find challenging. If you have a manual UK driving license and are comfortable driving alternative vehicles, you’re exactly who we’re looking for., You will work with me on a 2:1 basis as I attend day services. I also like to go out, therefore being able to drive is essential. If you are physically fit, reliable, and enjoy helping others gain independence, I’d love to meet you!
