Role Description
Join Our Team as a Female Support Worker
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £12.96 per hour
Hours: 0 hours per week, as and when required
Contract: Casual
Driving Requirement: A full UK manual driving license is essential

What will you be doing?
As a Female Support Worker, you’ll be more than just their support – you’ll be a key part of someone’s journey towards living their best life. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
- Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
- Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
- Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
- Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting
Our supported living services in Kent offer either shared or self-contained accommodation for six young ladies with a range of disabilities. We are specialists in supporting people who are autistic. Our focus is on supporting people to live independently in their own home.
We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do. Our support enables people to make choices and express their individuality. Personalisation is not a tick box exercise for us, but is fundamental to how we deliver our mission every single day of the year.
Applicants must be flexible regarding working hours in order to meet the needs of the service. Once training is completed there will be sleep-in shifts (paid separately) alongside your normal hours. We are looking for people with a good listening ear, that are patient, understanding and proactive who want to see the ladies we support excel in their lives, learning and becoming as independent as they can. Our ladies enjoy a range of different activities, whether its crafts, learning to cook new recipes, going to work, swimming, days out in London or going on Rollercoasters at Theme Parks. We encourage all to learn social skills. It’s a lovely service with great people who want to make the most of their lives!
