Join our team as a Complex Needs Support Worker.

Salary: £13.69 per hour (£26,695.5 per annum) plus benefits

Hours: 7.00 am - 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)

Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent

A valid driving license is required (Manual, UK).

Do you value routine, structure and helping others feel safe and confident?

As a Support Worker, you’ll help people live fuller, more independent lives by:

  • Supporting daily routines from morning to bedtime
  • Planning and enjoying person-centred activities such as walks, shopping and trips out
  • Building trusted, respectful relationships that support confidence and wellbeing

This is a role where building strong relationships is just as important as providing practical support.

You’ll be supporting John, a vibrant individual with complex needs who’s moving into a specially adapted home. When he is not out and about enjoying himself, he usually likes being at home listening to music (especially classical), Disney films, colouring, and outdoor fun like trampolining and swings in the garden.

Experience with learning disabilities, including using communication tools like Makaton or PECs, working with individuals with autism and/or visual impairments, and experience with behaviour that is highly challenged and applying Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies is beneficial.
