An exciting and varied role for Electrical Engineers based in the following areas: Romford, Dagenham, Dartford, Oxford, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Telford, Stoke-on-Trent, has arisen to undertake mobile electrical maintenance works to a high quality with a customer-oriented focus. Overall responsibility for carrying out various work efficiently and effectively, works include a wide variety from re-lamping, fault finding, installation of consumer units, socket replacement, etc.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Undertake emergency callouts and quote request surveys.
  2. Perform electrical fault-finding, repairs, and assembly.
  3. Use PDA, logging into portals and logging off correctly, in line with company procedures.
  4. Supply the SEE Services estimating team with quote information requests by deadlines required.
  5. Carry out relevant NICEIC electrical tests, mostly minor works certs on the tablets.
  6. Deliver M&E and minor works i.e., general lighting, power data, small scale fire alarm works, fault finding.
  7. Mostly work alone but may require pairing with another engineer depending on works and business requirement.
  8. Ensure photos are taken before and after repairs, in line with company procedures.
  9. Complete work sheets on site, following operations standard.
  10. Upload all documentation to each job (Job Docs) in a timely fashion, at latest after completing the job.
  11. Undertake call out as required, when on duty on the call out rota.
  12. Ensure the highest standards and competencies are delivered and demonstrated for all works undertaken.
  13. Contribute to the delivery of quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the customer.
  14. Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to the client and team, as required.
  15. Ensure that all duties are carried out in line with all Company policies and procedures and requirements.
  16. Follow Health and Safety policies and requirements.
  17. Be a good team player but also able to work on own initiative.
