Role Purpose
We are seeking a Graduate in our Transaction Services team to support the growth phase in this exciting business line for Sedulo. The successful candidate will assist the Transaction Services department assignments on a variety of financial due diligence projects (buy-side, sell-side and refinancing assignments), working with our private equity and SME client base.
The successful candidate will:

Role objectives
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Assist with the end-to-end fieldwork on multiple buy-side, refinancing, and sell-side (Vendor Assistance and Vendor Due Diligence) engagements, including conducting financial analysis, and preparing due diligence reports;
- Network with peers in the sector through Sedulo networking and external events;
- Participate in training and development activities of the Transaction Services department and the wider Sedulo Group;
- Keep up to date with technical market developments and accounting standards as they apply to Transaction Services / financial due diligence;
- Assist the National Head of Transaction Services in building a CRM database of key private equity and SME clients, developing a weighted pipeline tool, and monitoring revenue, billing, and expenditure of all Transaction Services engagements;
- Actively engage in Sedulo social events, business events and the Sedulo Foundation activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- A strong academic record;
- Fluent English language skills required;
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- A good working knowledge of Excel;
- Self-starter and inquisitive;
- Team player;
- Strong relationship and team management skills;
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken;
- Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively;
- Ability to engage commercially with clients.
