Purpose Working closely with the Head of Personal Tax, you will take ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio and play a key role in delivering a high-quality compliance and advisory service to clients. You will support the day-to-day management of the team, reviewing work, coaching junior colleagues and helping to identify opportunities to add value through proactive tax planning and wider Sedulo s

• jectives Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance work is planned, reviewed and delivered accurately and in line with filing deadlines.
• deadlines.Review self-assessment tax returns, tax computations and associated schedules, providing clear feedback and guidance to prep arers.
• preparers.Supervise, coach and develop junior members of the personal tax team, supporting their technical progression and confidence in client delivery.
• delivery.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted day-to-day contact and escalating complex matters where ap appropriate.
• propriate.Identify advisory opportunities, including share schemes, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, pension relief, tax-efficient giving and wider referrals across the business.
• work closely with the corporation tax compliance team and wider service lines to obtain information and deliver a joined-up client e experience.
• xperience.Prepare and review high-quality self-assessment tax returns, self-employed accounts and property income schedules, tailoring the service to each clien t’s needs.

• experience ATT and/or CTA qualified, or part-qualified with strong relevant experience; ACA/ACCA backgrounds with personal tax experience will also be considered.
