The Role
We are seeking a manager in our corporate finance team to support growth and the pipeline of opportunities. We are seeking an individual that can play a major part in growing the Sedulo Corporate Finance team to be the go-to in the North West.
The Manager will be a critical team member to help execute client engagements. They will report into the Corporate Finance Partner and the National Head of Deal Advisory and will be responsible for all aspects of producing IM's, financial projections and business plans as well as company valuation reports.
Qualified candidates will view themselves as having superior leadership and technical skills, excellent project management and communication skills, as well as a sense of urgency and drive to help the company service its clients.

Role Objectives
- Lead the end-to-end fieldwork on multiple buy and sell side, refinancing, and sell-side engagements, including the preparation of IM's target research and client meetings.
- Network with relevant intermediaries including law firms, investment banks, private equity houses and the finance and investment community in general.
- Fully engage with the Sedulo Transaction Services ensuring collaborative working between Corporate Finance and Transaction Services is the norm.
- Represent the firm regionally across London, Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds to increase awareness of the Corporate Finance offering and leveraging both internal and local external networks effectively.
- Training and development of the wider Corporate Finance team, including coaching and mentoring of junior staff.
- Keep up to date with technical market developments and accounting standards.
- Actively engage in Sedulo social event, business events and the Sedulo Foundation activities.
Your knowledge, skills and experience
- Experience in Corporate Finance is essential.
- A strong academic record and relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel and manipulation/analysis of diverse data sets including ability to build financial models.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market drivers and competitive landscape.
- Self-confident and ability to deal directly with PE investors, board members and clients.
- Self-starter and inquisitive.
- Team player.
- Strong relationship and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
