About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Consultant for Dataloy—part of Sedna’s suite of maritime solutions—this role sits at the intersection of maritime knowledge, customer engagement, and cutting‑edge technology. You’ll work closely with partners and prospects to help them unlock the full value of Sedna’s solutions while supporting our mission to modernise the flow of trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Industry & Product Knowledge: Stay deeply attuned to the maritime ecosystem, tracking industry shifts, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Understand the challenges and successes of existing Sedna customers and apply these insights to drive value in new partnerships. Actively engage with the product to strengthen your ability to support teams and prospects with relevant, practical solutions. Represent Sedna at maritime events and forums, positioning us as the trusted partner for digital transformation in shipping.
- Pre‑Sales & Partner Engagement: Lead discovery and demonstration sessions with prospective customers, supporting sales through to successful close. Build tailored solutions and presentations that address the unique challenges of ship operators, charterers, and logistics providers. Translate customer pain points into Sedna‑powered strategies that improve operational efficiency and decision‑making. Communicate in clear, value‑driven terms that highlight outcomes and impact for each maritime stakeholder.
- Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with Sales, Customer Operations, Implementation, and Product to craft business cases, statements of work, and roadmaps that drive customer success. Act as a trusted adviser to GTM teams, helping shape collateral and messaging that resonates with maritime decision‑makers. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to surface new use cases and market needs, ensuring our platform continues to evolve with the industry.
- Sales Excellence: Advocate for customers across the business, ensuring their voice informs product development, marketing, and delivery. Remove barriers in the sales cycle to keep momentum strong and relationships positive. Coach sales colleagues on maritime use cases and best practices, ensuring they are equipped to engage confidently in conversations with shipping stakeholders. Elevate Sedna’s demo and tooling experience to reflect the innovation and professionalism expected by global trade partners.
