Overview
As a mid level Product Designer, you will be a key contributor to delivering exceptional visual design solutions for Sedna’s transformative products. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will focus on the refinement and elevation of our product, trusted by industry leaders in maritime, logistics, and commodities. You will work on innovative user interface design, with a strong emphasis on responsive design, design systems, micro-interactions, and motion. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the look and feel of Sedna’s products and ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.
Key Responsibilities
UI Design and Execution
- Execute high-quality, brand conscious, pixel-perfect UI designs for complex workflows within Sedna’s platform.
- Contribute towards the development and maintenance of a robust design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product suite.
- Contribute towards the design of responsive interfaces that adapt seamlessly to various screen sizes and devices.
- Help design engaging micro-interactions enhances the user experience by drawing users\’ eyes to the right place at the right time
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of design deliverables.
- Experience with data visualization and map design is a plus.
Design Systems and Processes
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of design systems and processes that drive consistency across the product suite.
- Ensure design assets are organized and easily accessible for development teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering world-class UI design solutions. with a strong focus on UI execution and visual design.
- Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
