Job Title: Salesforce System Administrator - 6 Month FTC
Location: UK / South Africa / EU Remote / UK timezone #Remote
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Revenue Operations Systems Administrator with proven Salesforce expertise to own and execute on the Go-to-Market (GTM) tools strategy and roadmap as part of our Revenue Operations function. This role will be responsible for driving the strategic redesign of our Salesforce environment, optimizing its configuration, and ensuring seamless integration with other sales, marketing, and customer success tools. In addition, this role will own ongoing maintenance and support for Salesforce and other critical GTM tools (e.g. Outreach, HubSpot, Juro or DocuSign etc) required for the success of our revenue operations.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Salesforce administration, along with a deep understanding of GTM tools and associated processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Overhaul & Implementation:
- Salesforce Redesign: Lead the strategic redesign of the Salesforce instance, aligning the system architecture with business requirements and ensuring it is optimized for scalability, efficiency, and data integrity.
- System Configuration & Customization: Oversee and manage the customization of Salesforce to meet evolving business needs, including the configuration of objects, fields, page layouts, process automation (Workflow, Process Builder, Flow), and security settings.
- Data Migration & Integration: Ensuring accurate mapping, data cleaning, and integrity. Manage integrations with other revenue operations tools (e.g. Outreach, HubSpot, Notion, etc) to create a unified platform.
- User Setup & Permissions: Manage user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure appropriate access control across teams while maintaining data privacy and security standards.
- Automation & Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement workflow automations, approval processes, and business rules to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. Leverage tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Apex (not required, but nice to have).
Revenue Operations Tools Administration:
- Tool Configuration & Integration: Assist in optimizing critical Go-to-Market tools (e.g., Outreach, HubSpot, Kluster, etc.), ensuring that they are fully integrated with Salesforce and aligned with business workflows.
- System Integrations: Collaborate with various teams to manage integrations between Salesforce and other systems to ensure smooth data flow and eliminate system silos.
- Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance across Salesforce and other tools, identify issues, and troubleshoot system or process-related problems to ensure high availability and uptime.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training:
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to understand their requirements and translate them into effective system configurations and workflows.
- User Training & Support: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users, focusing on new Salesforce features, process changes, and best practices. Provide ongoing support and ensure teams are using the tools effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for all processes, configurations, system integrations, and updates to ensure the team has clear resources for troubleshooting and future improvements.
Administrative & Operational Tasks:
- Operational Support: Support with operational activities required to maintain high quality revenue operations, such as management of deal rooms, processing renewal opportunities, and completing opportunity hygiene checks.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation, optimization, and efficiency improvements across the revenue operations tech stack. Continuously recommend and implement best practices.
- Project Management: Lead and manage revenue operations systems projects, including the Salesforce overhaul, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed. Track progress and report on project milestones.
- System Maintenance & Upgrades: Stay informed about new Salesforce releases, product features, and industry trends. Plan and manage system upgrades and ensure the platform is always up to date with the latest capabilities.
- Vendor & Tool Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors for tools that support revenue operations, ensuring service levels are met and integrations are functioning as expected.
About you:
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Able to commit to working 3 days per week on a 6 month full time contract.
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with at least 2 years focused on leading or managing Salesforce implementations, overhauls, or large-scale transformations.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) is required. Additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211), Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Technical Architect are highly preferred.
- Experience managing and integrating other revenue operations tools (e.g. HubSpot, Outreach, Juro or DocuSign etc).
- Hands-on experience managing integrations between Salesforce and other platforms using APIs, middleware, or third-party integration tools like Zapier.

- Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional projects, including timelines, deliverables, and resource management.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of HubSpot, Outreach, and Salesforce, with a solid understanding of Salesforce customization options (e.g., Apex, Lightning Components, Flow, Process Builder) and a high level of technical acumen in working with data structures and integrations.
- Data Management: Strong experience in data management, including data migrations, data cleanup, deduplication, and ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
