Role Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven individual to step into a Team Leader role within our Motor department. In this position you’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of work quality and ensuring service delivery targets are consistently met. As part of your duties you’ll carry out internal audits, including telephony and file reviews. You’ll also analyse trends, identify training requirements, and work on developing new claims process improvements with client approval.

Additionally, you’ll prepare management information reports to highlight key trends, pinpoint hot spots, and propose effective solutions. Your role will also involve active participation in client and customer management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out internal audits, including telephony and file reviews.
  • Analyse trends, identify training requirements, and develop new claims process improvements.
  • Prepare management information reports highlighting key trends and proposing solutions.
  • Actively participate in client and customer management.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable leadership capability: Confidence in directing and sustaining a high‑performing team within a dynamic setting.
  • Comprehensive claims expertise: Proven experience in managing motor insurance claims under demanding operational conditions.
  • Advanced people development skills: Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate colleagues to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Exceptional communication proficiency: Skilled in articulating complex information clearly to policyholders, insurers, and contractors, while negotiating equitable resolutions.
  • Strategic decision‑making: Capacity to evaluate intricate scenarios and implement solutions that balance compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
