We have a fantastic opportunity for a Restoration Surveyor in either the Midlands or Southern England. You will work on Restoration projects for commercial and domestic properties damaged by water, flood, or fire. Projects range from £5k to £100k. Depending on the project, you may work alone or in a team. Your tasks will include technical reporting, defects diagnosis, and managing the drying process. You will collaborate with our restoration network to find the best solutions for claims and adapt to innovation and change. Managing your workload and making decisions under pressure is essential. This is a great opportunity for a Restoration/Building Surveyor to advance their career in a growing company. You will need to quickly gain the trust of policyholders and contractors after significant building losses. Key attributes include composure under pressure, excellent communication skills, and empathy. The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence essential.
  • Accreditation: Preferably BDMA/Dewpoint accredited Building Surveyor.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Desirable but not essential, as well as experience in the principles of restoration or the repair of water and fire damaged properties.
  • Building Construction Knowledge: Preferably extensive knowledge of building construction and relevant legislation.
  • Project Planning: Able to plan projects to ensure robust control of time, cost and quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working as part of a team focused on driving change and innovating.
