Experienced in Motor claims and ready for a new challenge? Join our specialist investigations team and take the lead in uncovering fraud across high-value, complex cases. Are you an experienced Motor claims professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for uncovering the truth? We’re looking for a skilled Motor Claim Investigator to join our specialist Motor Investigations team, where you’ll play a key role in detecting and containing fraud across complex motor insurance claims.
Reporting to the Motor Investigations Team Manager, you will join a high‑performing group of eight investigators, dedicated to handling a full range of Motor claims—including vehicle damage, personal injury, credit hire, policy fraud, accidental damage, fire, and theft—across self‑drive hire, Motor Trade, and Fleet. You’ll take ownership of a caseload of high‑value investigations from start to finish, working closely with our Fraud Data & Insight Team and adjusting colleagues, while engaging directly with policyholders, brokers, and insurers.
This is a strategic role that demands technical expertise, investigative acumen, and strong stakeholder engagement. You’ll be responsible for conducting video interviews, identifying and evidencing fraudulent activity, and collaborating with panel solicitors to secure the best outcomes for our clients. Your ability to interpret insurance schedules, apply Civil Procedure Rules, and produce clear, professional reports will be key to your success.

- Motor Claims Experience – Recent hands-on experience handling & investigating Motor claims is essential.

- Fraud Detection – Skilled in identifying, investigating, and evidencing policy breaches and fraudulent activity.
- Legal Knowledge – Understanding of litigation procedures and the Civil Procedure Rules relevant to insurance claims.
- Solicitor Liaison – Confidence and experience in instructing and guiding panel solicitors to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Commercial Motor Awareness – Familiarity with motor trade and fleet claims, insurance schedules, and policy endorsements.
- Stakeholder Credibility – Strong personal attributes that earn respect and trust from internal and external stakeholders.
- Report Writing – Ability to produce clear, professional, and insightful investigation reports.
