This Level Monitoring Surveyor opportunity with Sedgwick offers the chance to join a market-leading Subsidence Services Division, supporting the delivery of high-quality surveying solutions across North and West London. Managing a varied portfolio of residential and commercial claims, you will carry out on-site monitoring and 360 surveys, gathering precise data that underpins effective claims management and decision-making.

The role combines technical learning with independence, allowing you to take ownership of your schedule while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment. With full training provided on specialist equipment and processes, this position is ideal for individuals looking to develop or build a career in surveying, particularly those who enjoy a balance of fieldwork and analytical reporting.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Surveying Interest/Experience – Previous experience in subsidence or surveying is beneficial, but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Driving Licence – Full UK driving licence enabling regular travel to sites across London.
  • Workload Management – Ability to independently plan, organise and prioritise your own diary and caseload effectively.
  • Practical Field Skills – Hands-on, comfortable using tools and equipment in a field-based environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Willingness to work outside in varying conditions while conducting site visits.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) with the ability to accurately capture data and produce detailed, high-quality reports across Windows and Apple platforms.
  • Decision Making – Confidence in assessing situations on site and making informed, practical decisions.
  • Customer Focus – Strong commitment to delivering excellent service to both claimants and insurers, with professionalism and care.
  • Communication & Organisation – Clear, empathetic communicator with strong administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders.
