We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paralegal to join our in-house Legal team. Join Sedgwick’s in-house Legal team as a Paralegal, working closely with legal counsel across a varied, fast-paced remit spanning disputes, corporate governance, and legal operations. This role places you at the centre of legal activity, offering direct exposure to high-value matters while supporting the delivery of pragmatic, business-focused legal solutions.

Within this role, you will support UK disputes and litigation through structured case management, maintaining records, organising evidence, and tracking deadlines and key procedural milestones. You will liaise with stakeholders and external advisers, helping to coordinate activity and ensure matters progress efficiently.

Alongside this, you will contribute to company secretarial and governance requirements, assisting with corporate filings, statutory records, and maintenance of entity data. Your attention to detail will support compliance and ensure accurate, well-managed documentation across the business.

In parallel, you will assist with due diligence relating to Sedgwick’s contractor network, maintaining records, tracking documentation, and supporting onboarding and compliance processes. Your organisation and follow-through will be key to ensuring consistency and risk control.

Equally, you will maintain and enhance legal records and document systems, ensuring materials are clearly indexed, securely stored, and easily accessible. By improving trackers and processes, you will support an efficient, well-run legal function.

As the role develops, there may be opportunities to support international work in line with business needs. This position suits a proactive, detail-focused individual seeking broad in-house experience within a collaborative and professional environment.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Legal Qualification and Procedural Awareness – Law degree, equivalent qualification, or paralegal/corporate support experience, with working knowledge of litigation, disputes, and legal case management.
  • Governance and Secretarial Knowledge – Awareness of company secretarial duties, statutory filings, entity maintenance, and corporate governance documentation.
  • Organisation and Communication – Strong organisational discipline, high attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Systems and Multi-Matter Management – Confidence using databases, document systems, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage competing priorities across jurisdictions.
  • Confidentiality and Commercial Judgement – Professional discretion, sound judgement, and a pragmatic, commercially aligned approach, with willingness to learn internal systems and processes.
  • Global Legal Operations Experience – Exposure to in-house legal environments, including disputes, governance, and international coordination, supporting legal operations, document control, and due diligence.

What we’ll give you for this role:

  • Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications
  • A Self Invested Personal Pension Scheme (SIPP)
  • Holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Private healthcare plan (including pre-existing conditions)
  • Life assurance
  • Employee assistance programme for employee wellbeing
  • Wellbeing and digital GP apps
  • Group Income Protection
  • Voluntary flexible benefits – green car scheme, health assessment, travel insurance, dental cover, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan
  • Discounts on various products and services
