What you’ll Bring:

  • Active Directory expertise: Deep experience designing, managing, and supporting complex on-premises AD environments across multiple forests.
  • Hybrid identity knowledge: Strong understanding of Entra ID and integration between on-premises and cloud directory services.
  • Advanced troubleshooting: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues related to AD replication, trusts, Group Policy, LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, and AD security.
  • Migration experience: Hands-on background with domain migrations, object transfers, and decommissioning legacy domains.
  • Security best practices: Proven ability to implement and maintain policies that protect directory services and identity infrastructure.
  • Performance monitoring: Ability to monitor, analyse, and optimise domain controller and directory service performance.
  • Scripting skills: Proficiency with PowerShell for automation, configuration, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional IT teams.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring junior engineers and guiding peers on identity-related topics.

  • Windows Server knowledge: Advanced experience with Windows Server 2016–2025 in both physical and virtual environments.
  • IAM familiarity: Understanding of related solutions such as Microsoft Identity Manager and PKI infrastructure.
  • Networking fundamentals: Basic network troubleshooting proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel: Strong analytical abilities using Excel for reporting and data handling.
