Please Note: This role is based in Manchester, and during the first month, you will be required to attend the office 2–3 days per week for training and team integration. After this period, hybrid working will continue with occasional office visits for meetings and collaboration.

Your new role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing high value property insurance claims from cradle to grave—from initial notification through to settlement. You will act as the primary owner and decision-maker on each claim, working collaboratively with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to deliver effective, empathetic solutions for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of property claims independently from first notification to final settlement
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to drive swift and fair resolution
- Handle complaints in accordance with FCA guidelines and ensure compliance standards are met
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and confidence in all customer interactions
- Use a balanced and fair approach to evaluate claims and negotiate appropriate outcomes
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and detail when gathering and assessing claims information
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience managing domestic property insurance claims from start to finish
- Experience in high-volume call environments
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to balance customer empathy with firm, fair decision-making
