We have a fantastic opportunity for a CAD Manager, UK wide.
This role centres on producing and managing precise technical drawings for domestic building repairs and structural underpinning. You’ll ensure all outputs meet planning and building regulations, with conservation knowledge a welcome bonus. Working across internal teams and external CAD suppliers, you’ll drive quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
You’ll handle a steady caseload of drawing work, translating project requirements into clear, accurate technical drawings. Liaising with engineers and contractors, you’ll turn specifications into practical solutions. Alongside this, you’ll manage external drawing providers, ensuring standards are upheld and deadlines met.
Establishing and maintaining a library of standard construction details will be key, as will enforcing CAD templates and best practices. You’ll help shape internal drawing standards and support the growth of our technical services. Organised archiving and version control are essential, and you’ll also track billable time to support commercial transparency.
This is perfect for a detail-driven CAD technician or technical coordinator ready to lead drawing standards and contribute to service expansion in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
