We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Consultant based in Midlands/Central England/Wales to join our team at EFI Global UK within Sedgwick. Working for EFI Global within the UK for our insurance and commercial sector clients, you will be responsible for cradle to grave management of environmental incidents and supervision of site investigations to establish the extent of potential contamination following incidents and identifying the associated environmental risks.
With the support of our Senior Management Team and trusted network of approved environmental and building contractors, you will be instrumental in delivering site remediation goals across a huge variety of different sites varying both in scale, severity and location. There will be the opportunity to assist in desktop consulting from the UK for incidents across the globe and the flexibility to travel within the UK is essential.
The skills you will have when you apply:
- Education: Degree related to environmental science (preferably a Master's degree) or relevant work experience
- Experience: Extensive experience in insurance, commercial & domestic sector environmental investigation would be desirable
- Detailed knowledge of remediation techniques is desirable
- Demonstrable history of contaminated site work
- A full UK driving licence
