We are seeking an Account Manager in our International Corporate team. We operate out of Cardiff, but the position can be completed remotely. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients, onboard new clients, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain ongoing relationships. You will be the key point of contact and will help protect what we have and generate growth through upselling and cross-selling additional services with existing clients. We provide full training, so even if you are new to client relationship management, we can get you up to speed. We value the right qualities—proactive mindset, excellent communication, and a client-focused approach. You will be supported by a dedicated technical and managerial team while working independently as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Onboard new clients, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Protect existing accounts and generate growth through upselling and cross-selling of additional services.
  • Act as the trusted advisor for clients, ensuring their global claims are managed effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and leverage support from the Business Analysis team and Sedgwick platforms as needed.

  • Exceptional communication acuity: able to convey intricate information to clients, contractors and associated parties with precision.
  • Relationship cultivation: sustain and deepen relationships that influence the breadth of the marketplace.
  • Strategic partnership development: construct and maintain alliances with key stakeholders across International and Global business environments.
  • Analytical communication capability: confident in presenting MI support and using Sedgwick platforms.
  • Advanced problem-resolution competence: diagnose issues efficiently, safeguard value, and drive growth through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Rigorous time-management discipline: organise weekly schedules, prioritise client demands, meet deadlines, and oversee multiple accounts.

Helpful but Not Required

  • Experience with Excel.
  • Understanding of insurance market dynamics.
  • Training available for specific skills once you join the team.
