Your new role: We're offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a trainee/adjusting executive based in the Northwest region. We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with a background in property insurance, especially those who have managed domestic or commercial claims from cradle to grave for at least 12 months. If you have solid property claims experience and are ready to expand into a niche and meaningful area of insurance, this could be the ideal next step for you. In this role, you'll handle a wide variety of insurance claims for specialist insurance providers. From domestic and commercial property damage, your work will span diverse and often complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, assess, and agree claims settlements across domestic and commercial.
  • Liaise with policyholders, insurers, and contractors to deliver fair, timely, and transparent outcomes.
  • Balance empathy and professionalism to support customers during difficult times.
  • Work autonomously, managing your own caseload and schedule across the region.
  • Apply sound judgement, business acumen, and technical insight to each case.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A full UK driving licence - travel is a key part of the role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective time and case management skills - ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
  • Prior experience in loss adjusting.
  • Familiarity with Apple iPads or other tablet devices.
  • A basic understanding of home insurance policies and domestic property structure.
