We have a fantastic opportunity for Domestic Loss Adjusters across Essex. As a Domestic Loss Adjuster, you'll manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across Essex, from visiting customers at their homes, co‑ordinating visits from contractors, to finally settling each claim.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across Essex.
  • Visit customers at their homes and coordinate visits from contractors.
  • Compile comprehensive reports and settle claims.
  • Communicate with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more.
  • Identify and solve problems efficiently.
  • Plan your own week and manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Handle multiple claims simultaneously.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A full UK Driving Licence – essential for travel by car.
  • Insurance knowledge – understanding of how a home insurance policy operates and the basic makeup of a domestic property.
  • Excellent communication skills – speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, explaining complex details clearly.
  • Problem‑solving abilities.
  • Time‑management skills – plan your own week, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
