Monitoring Surveyor – Join Sedgwick’s Award‑Winning Subsidence Team delivering expert level monitoring across London. This role supports the delivery of high‑quality surveying solutions across London. Managing a varied portfolio of residential and commercial claims, you will carry out on‑site monitoring and 360 surveys, gathering precise data that underpins effective claims management and decision‑making. The position offers full training on specialist equipment and processes, allowing you to develop your career in surveying while enjoying a balance of fieldwork and analytical reporting.
Responsibilities
- Carry out on‑site monitoring and 360 surveys for residential and commercial claims.
- Collect and analyse data to support accurate claim assessments.
- Prepare detailed, high‑quality reports across Windows and Apple platforms.
- Engage confidently with customers and maintain accurate records.
- Make informed, practical decisions on site.
- Plan, organise and prioritise your diary and caseload effectively.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team.
Requirements
- Surveying interest/experience – previous subsidence or surveying experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across London.
- Practical field skills – comfortable using tools and equipment in a field‑based environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Technical & analytical skills – proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Decision‑making confidence – assess situations on site and make practical decisions.
- Customer focus – strong commitment to delivering excellent service to claimants and insurers.
- Communication & organisation – clear, empathetic communication, strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
