This team plays a vital role in delivering tailored, cost-effective fraud prevention strategies to a diverse range of internal and external clients. As a Home Desktop Investigator, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of home claims flagged as potentially fraudulent. The work is varied and engaging, involving telephone and video interviews, evidence gathering, and liaising with policyholders, contractors, suppliers, and external agencies such as the police. You’ll be expected to plan and conduct investigations, produce well-structured statements, and prepare detailed reports with clear recommendations for insurers. The role also includes issuing outcome letters, negotiating settlements, and maintaining high standards of customer service while adhering to strict service level agreements.
