About the role
We are looking for an organised, team orientated, enthusiastic and proactive individual. The candidate will be in a team which supports 5 Partners and 7 Lawyers, to process high volume and urgent transactions. You will have previous experience in property and should be looking for a new challenge to develop your legal career.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm. Following the successful completion of your probationary period, you will be required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days per week.
Key Tasks:
To work as part of the Real Estate Finance team supporting the lawyers and providing legal and administrative support on transactions including, but not limited to:
- Carrying out Land Registry Searches and liaising with the Land Registry;
- Carrying out winding up and bankruptcy searches;
- Completion and post completion administration, to include companies house and Land Registry applications;
- Diarising and managing replies to requisitions and land registry applications;
- Weekly Land Registry registration downloads to be distributed;
- Assisting with photocopying and scanning of documents and the creation of deed packets;
- Diarising and chasing counter-party solicitors regularly;
- Producing completion statements, payment slips, billing and reviewing matter balances;
- Arranging for documents to be signed by DocuSign;
- File and organise documents for REF workspace;
- Handling post allocation and filing;
- Diary management.
Skills and experience
- 12 months of previous experience working within a fast paced legal/professional services property team is essential.
- Experience of dealing with companies house and land registry application processes.
- Proficient in use of MS Office (specifically Word, and Excel).
- Experience with Intapp, iManage and 3E is desirable.
- Experience in using DocuSign, including two factor authentication.
- Excellent administration, organisational and prioritisation skills with ability to manage time efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Sensitive verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to manage competing deadlines and work priorities effectively.
- Have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Be a strong team player who can also work on their own and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
