Commercial Manager (Planned Maintenance)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager (Planned Maintenance) to join our Housing Partnerships team in the North-West.
The purpose of the role is to oversee all commercial aspects of the division’s performance and reporting.Provide support to the Divisional Director in all commercial matters and to provide direction, support, development and empowerment of individuals to achieve both divisional and individual aims and objectives.

What you’ll do:
- Demonstrate contractual awareness and understanding of both main and sub contract terms to appraise and define any commercial strategy inclusive of early intervention
- Ensure the project team administers contractual correspondence and obligation properly and by understanding procedural compliance for audit and in meeting corporate governance
- Demonstrate and be fully conversant with change control relevant to prevailing conditions including responsibility for managing and evaluating risk and opportunity strategy to close
- Ensure key accounts both main and sub contract interim accounts are processed in timely manner to finalisation; fully substantiated and quantified to comply and in compliance with legislation. Minimising profit leakage and maximising commercial opportunity
- Establish effective procurement strategy and route of formal arrangement of contract and supplementary agreements from enquiry to agreement and close.
- Manage monthly commercial reporting timetable including team meetings.
- Liaise with FD/insurers to effect correct levels of indemnity and policy compliance throughout for respective project. Prepare all requisite information in support of any claim.
- Effect financial due diligence for Employer and supply chain embracing financials and SHEQ.
- Continued improvement toward effective commercial procedure.
- Effective line manager to also embrace graduate programme.
