We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice People Administrator to join our busy and supportive People Department in Bolton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in HR and/or Training, with full training and development provided.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day administrative support to the People team, gaining hands‑on experience across core HR activities including employee records, recruitment, onboarding and training coordination.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Key Responsibilities
- General People/HR administration and team support
- Uploading and maintaining employee records, files and training data
- Reception cover and coordination of training course bookings
- Supporting recruitment activities, including advertising roles and arranging interviews
- Assisting with onboarding and leaver processes
- Completing pre-employment and right-to-work checks
- Preparing contracts, letters and HR correspondence
- Maintaining spreadsheets, Outlook calendars and internal systems

- Professional, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
- Willing to learn and work in line with GDPR requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic and keen to develop a career in HR
