An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer to join our Housing Partnerships team in the Midlands. The purpose of the role is to produce winning bid submissions, create professional, high-standard quality documentation for tender submissions, as part of the overall win work strategy.

Competitive Salary / Competitive Car Allowance / 26 Days Holidays / Pension Scheme / Free Parking / Private Health Care / Professional Development & Training Opportunities / Free Wellbeing Initiatives such as eye care vouchers, occupational health, employee assistance programme / Ministry of Fun / Flexible Working / Online Retailer Discounts (Seddon Smartspending) What youll do: Lead the writing and overall co-ordination of bid submissions Manage the delivery of the quality documentation for bid submissions in line with relevant tender deadlines Develop and write technical & non-technical quality responses Production and formatting of Expression of Interests, approved lists & PQQs Submit tender documents and add to the bid library Production of graphics for submissions including charts and tables Drive technical knowledge management for submissions Ensure capturing of feedback to achieve continuous improvement Monitor tender portals / shared mailboxes for new tender opportunities and communication around existing Recording, populating, and using a bid library of previous answers Keep an up-to-date record of case studies for Seddon Housing Partnerships Keep and maintain the CRM software Work with the marketing team to develop marketing collateral and other administration duties as required Support the Business development function with the production of visual material Have you got what it takes: Accomplished written skills Experience of writing and submitting successful tenders in the retrofit and refurbishment market Ability to work independently and take the initiative to write and coordinate bids Succinct time management and organisation skills Ability to handle pressure and prioritise Ability to use Microsoft Office to a high standard Experience of Adobe InDesign and CRM relationship manager (desirable) Full membership of relevant professional body (desirable) Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (desirable)
