Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 with 30‑minute unpaid lunch break

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Production Planner to join our growing business. You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling manufacturing activities to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time and within budget. This role is ideal for someone with strong planning skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working within a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans where needed
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials are available
  • Analyse sales forecasts and customer orders to determine production requirements
  • Track inventory levels and minimise shortages or excess stock
  • Work with manufacturing teams to improve efficiencies and reduce downtime
  • Ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are met
  • Prepare production reports and KPI analysis
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain accurate planning data within designated management system
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and operations
  • Produce planning reports and KPI updates for management

About you

Required Experience:

  • Experience in a Production Planner or Supply Chain Planning role
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of planning systems
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • Understanding of inventory management and forecasting
