You will sit within a cross-functional team of engineers, test specialists, architects and DevOps, working closely with our Business Product Lead who defines long-term strategy. Your focus will be on translating that vision into a clear roadmap, a well-structured backlog, and consistently successful releases.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured agile environments, enjoys creating clarity from complexity and is passionate about delivering high-quality enterprise software. This role is hybrid in our office in Blackfriars London.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Product Delivery & Backlog Management: Own and continuously refine the product backlog, writing high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria and sufficient technical detail for engineering teams. Break down large initiatives into well-defined, sprint-ready work items that can be confidently estimated and delivered. Act as the day-to-day decision maker for the team, unblocking delivery and maintaining sprint focus. Ensure strong backlog hygiene and traceability across Jira and Confluence.
- Roadmap & Prioritisation: Own and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring it is clearly structured, visible and up to date. Prioritise work in alignment with long-term strategy, balancing customer value, technical debt, platform health and security. Maintain clear alignment between strategic initiatives and delivered outcomes.
- Agile Delivery & Release Management: Lead all Scrum ceremonies across a two-week sprint cycle, continuously improving team effectiveness. Run clear and engaging sprint demos for both internal and customer-facing stakeholders. Own release notes and communications, ensuring high quality and consistency. Track release success, validating outcomes against expectations and monitoring adoption. Support a move towards continuous delivery with frequent, high-quality releases.
- Design, Quality & Automation: Create and iterate on product designs and prototypes in collaboration with engineering and product stakeholders. Embed a strong quality-first mindset, ensuring stories include testing, security and operational considerations from the outset. Promote a shift-left approach and an automation-first culture across delivery workflows. Monitor delivery metrics and performance, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
Technical Experience & Skills
- 3 to 5 years experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or Business Analyst within agile engineering teams delivering SaaS products to enterprise customers.
- Proven experience managing backlogs, decomposing complex initiatives and leading Scrum ceremonies for cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tooling.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured and impactful documentation.
- A strong bias towards automation and continuous improvement.
