This is a hands-on senior network engineering role where you will play a key part in delivering and optimizing managed network security services for enterprise clients within a fast-growing global cybersecurity business. You will be responsible for the configuration, management and continuous improvement of network security infrastructure, acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues. Working closely with engineering, service delivery and client stakeholders, you will ensure high quality service delivery across firewalls, SD WAN and SASE platforms. This role would suit a technically strong engineer who enjoys a fast-paced, client-facing environment and exposure to complex global security environments. This role is hybrid, with 3 days a week in our office in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the technical delivery of managed network security services for enterprise clients
  • Act as a senior escalation point for L1 and L2 engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
  • Configure, deploy and manage network security infrastructure including NGFW, SD WAN and SASE or SSE platforms
  • Troubleshoot complex network security incidents and produce root cause analysis
  • Conduct proactive reviews of client environments to identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Manage firewall rule sets, policy optimization and change processes
  • Support client service reviews and act as a trusted technical advisor
  • Contribute to network security architecture design and engineering standards
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, configurations and service activities
  • Participate in on-call support for high priority incidents
  • Support continuous improvement of managed services and internal engineering practices
Essential Skills and Experience
  • 5 plus years of hands-on network security engineering experience
  • Strong experience working in an MSSP or managed services environment
  • Deep expertise in next generation firewalls (Check Point is a must) other include such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including BGP, OSPF, VPNs, NAT and switching
  • Experience with SD WAN technologies and modern network architectures
  • Familiarity with SASE or SSE platforms such as Zscaler, Netskope or Prisma Access
  • Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple client environments
