As a Business Development Manager at SecurityHQ, you will be responsible for winning new logos by identifying, targeting and engaging prospective customers through proactive outbound sales activity, working closely alongside Marketing and the Business Development team’s leads. You will own the entire sales cycle from first contact through to close and play a key role in growing our presence across the UK. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work closely with marketing and BDR support to maximise outbound activity and campaign success
  • Proactively build and manage your own outbound pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Identify, target, and win new logos across mid‑market and enterprise organisations
  • Own the full sales cycle: discovery, needs analysis, solution positioning, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Deliver confident, value‑based presentations aligned to customer security challenges
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM
  • Consistently hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Develop a strong understanding of SecurityHQ’s managed security services and articulate value clearly to prospects

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–6 years of B2B sales experience, in cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience building your own pipeline through outbound activity
  • Hunter mindset you enjoy prospecting, opening doors, and winning new business
  • Comfortable selling complex or consultative solutions (training provided)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and target‑driven
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
