Trinity Fire & Security are hiring a Fire Damper Engineer to install & maintain fire dampers and associated systems. You will be working on mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems across the South of England, as part of a skilled team of engineers and support staff, building on the company’s reputation for quality and customer service.
Role of Damper Engineer
- Install, service, and maintain fire dampers in line with Trinity’s quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Ensure correct assembly, alignment, and secure installation of dampers within ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Carry out inspections, routine maintenance, and adjustments to keep dampers fully operational.
- Support the repair and replacement of faulty components and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Accurately maintain service records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of HVAC systems, construction practices, and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to a safety‑first approach, adhering to company and industry standards.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop technical expertise in the field.
