Overview
Security Management Resources has been engaged to recruit a senior security leader for a multinational client in the EMIA region. In this high-impact role, you will guide a cross-functional team responsible for comprehensive security and risk management across the territory. Ideal candidates currently reside in Western Europe, have a proven record with multinational corporations, and possess deep knowledge of regional law-enforcement and government operations. Fluency in English is essential; additional language proficiency is a strong advantage. The position requires frequent travel throughout the region, sometimes on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute business continuity and crisis management strategies in collaboration with EMIA regional leadership.
- Serve as the subject matter expert during incident response, leading coordination efforts to reduce the impact on enterprise assets.
- Formulate and implement consistent physical security regulations, frameworks, and processes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to execute a broad range of regional investigations.
- Proactively uncover potential risks, minimizing their impact on regional operations.
- Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with national and international law enforcement and public sector agencies to facilitate integrated intelligence sharing and coordinate a cohesive, unified response to critical incidents impacting the region.
Requirements, Experience, Skills, and Comptencies
- University degree with an ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
- Substantial senior security leadership experience within a multinational corporation.
- Ability to direct cross-functional regional contributors to preemptively solve critical issues.
- Extensive experience working across varied cultural contexts within the EMIA region, supported by prior in-region assignments and a commitment to frequent travel.
- Advanced communication and relationship-building expertise.
- Fluent in English. Additional language proficiency preferred.
