Security Management Installations deliver enabling ground works, high security equipment installations and maintenance of perimeter protection products. SMI was born from a service perspective, providing turnkey solutions for all works associated with standard and high security perimeter systems. We offer groundworks, new equipment installations, project management services and preventative maintenance agreements.
Due to the company's continued success and growth, we are looking to add another 'gang' comprising of a lead person and labourer, to our groundworks team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and become a valued member of SMI.
The job role:
- Installing concrete bases, bunds, general drainage and ducting works
- Installing security products, to include, gates, barriers, fencing, bollards and roadblockers
- Liaising with the office when additional works and quotes are required
- Accurate completion of documentation
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and manage tasks under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines
- Adhering to safe health and safety practices at all times
What we are looking for:
- Be able to demonstrate good knowledge of groundwork practices
- Able to read drawings and set out site works
- Oversee the team
- An adaptable person that is a problem solver
- CSCS card holder
- Candidate to hold preferably CPCS/Npors, Excavator, Dumper or telehandler cards and cable avoidance training
- Minimum of 3 years experience in groundworks
- Willing to work away from home as we cover all of the UK
- Full UK driving licence
Our package:
- Working hours of 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday – additional hours as dictated by the business, including weekends when required
- Company vehicle, PPE and relevant tools
