MOD DV/ UKIC DV Cleared Technical Consultant – 12 months+ – £500-600pd Inside IR35 – Full time on site London or Gloucester My client are a Defence/Gov Consultancy who are looking for a MOD DV/ UKIC DV Cleared Technical Consultant. MOD DV Candidates must be willing to undergo HMG UKIC Clearance process. Technical Skills: Able to demonstrate experience of troubleshooting and diagnosis of technical issues. Understanding, and previous use of, AWS services. Installation and configuration of RHEL or Windows Server OS technologies. Configuration and understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL and Oracle. Good knowledge of fundamental networking, such as network protocols, VPNs and firewalls. Experience with enterprise software applications and demonstrate understanding of development, test and release processes. Desirable if the candidate has experience implementing or supporting the following products (listed in order of preference): AMX/SMAX Configuration Management System (CMS)/UCMDB Service Manager Operations Orchestration (OO) IDOL Connect-It Asset Manager Test Tools including ALM Octane, Load Runner and UFT Non Technical Skills Able to demonstrate excellent team-working skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all stakeholder levels. Ability to work under pressure and make rational decisions considering relevant risks and taking responsibility for such decisions. Specific knowledge of secure government operations and ways of working. Background in Service Management Capabilities and experience of working with Service Management toolsets. Experience of working with personnel in a cross-organisation environment is highly desirable.
