This is a phenomenal opportunity for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to play a leading role in the support of our production and manufacturing activities. Job Title : Analogue and Digital Electronics Engineer – Product Design Support Salary : Circa £42,000-£48,000 depending on experience Location : Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role) Dynamic (hybrid) working : This role will require the candidate to be on site the majority of the time ie 5 days a week but, where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach. Security Clearance : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship . Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The opportunity : You’ll act as the interface between our design teams and our manufacturing teams while working alongside other support engineers to provide knowledge and support. The primary aim is focused on highly advanced, module missile programmes and subsystems. The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas of electronics. Working within design support is a highly rewarding role as you not only see designs coming to life in the manufacturing environment but you can help to shape the design of these products to deliver support to our customers. What we’re looking for from you : You’ll need to demonstrate a number of the following attributes: Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing products/systems Proven experience in one or more of the following disciplines:- Analogue and Digital Electronics Investigative skills to be able to find Root Causes of electronic design related issues and propose robust Corrective Actions.
