We are currently recruiting for 2 Security Officers to join our team in Winnersh. As a Security Officer, you will provide a professional security service, protecting people, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

As a Security Officer, you will protect people, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service at a leading technology site. The Security Officer will carry out patrols, monitor security systems, control access, and respond to incidents in line with site procedures. The Security Officer must hold a valid SIA Licence and demonstrate Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness at all times.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Conduct regular security patrols and monitor CCTV, alarms, and access points.
  • Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors.
  • Control site access, issue passes, and manage keys.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, evacuations, and fire alarms.
  • Protect people, property, and assets from loss, theft, and damage.
  • Complete accurate records, incident reports, and shift handovers.
  • Ensure compliance with security, health & safety, and site procedures.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A valid SIA Licence, or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A 5-year checkable employment history, including any periods of employment, education, self-employment, or unemployment.
  • No unspent criminal convictions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and punctual with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Must be aged 18 or over.

Desirable

  • Previous experience as a Security Officer or within the security industry.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
  • A valid First Aid qualification.
