We’re Hiring: Relief Security Officer
Location: Ringwood, UK
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 40hr days, nights and weekends relief role

The Relief Security Officer provides security services across multiple sites as needed, ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets. The role requires an SIA licence and involves maintaining high standards of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. Officers must be flexible and ready to cover shifts at short notice.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe.
- Support the Protection of Property & Premises by controlling access, monitoring alarms and CCTV, preventing unauthorised entry, carrying out internal and external patrols, reporting safety or security hazards, managing keys, responding to incidents, and following all Assignment Instructions.
- Uphold Health & Safety standards by promoting safe working practices, reporting hazards and near misses, completing accident reports, and ensuring first aid equipment and emergency procedures are properly maintained.
- Help Prevent Loss, Waste & Crime by reporting any lost, damaged, or stolen property, operating radios, pagers, and other security equipment, conducting stop/search procedures when required, and recording any suspicious activities.
- Provide excellent Customer Service, ensuring staff and visitors are well supported while maintaining high standards of appearance and professionalism.
- Complete all logs and reports accurately, following company policies and management instructions, and consistently representing the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

- Five‑year checkable work history and no criminal convictions.
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends.

- Valid UK driving licence and vehicle.
- Previous security officer experience.
- First Aid qualification.
